Jacey Johnson - Associate Teacher
As a young child, Ms. Jacey could always be found playing with dolls and often playing “babysitter”. Dance and music were added to her world a little later and became so important to her than she majored in Dance at Long Beach State University. She came to realize that her initial interest in caregiving remained, and she turned to SBCC for her early childhood education. As Ms. Jacey describes it: “teaching young children has expanded my heart, increased my confidence, led me towards compassion and filled me with meaningful purpose .”
One reason Jacey chose to bring her talents and passion to COP is because she attended COP as a preschooler, and has vivid positive childhood memories of her own time at our sweet school!
